Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that demonstrate academic rigor,
originality, methodological soundness, and meaningful contribution to existing
scholarship.
Authors are requested to

IJESS considers manuscripts
addressing significant theoretical, empirical, methodological, and applied
issues within education and the social sciences.

2. Submission Preparation
Checklist
Before submitting a
manuscript, authors should ensure that the following requirements have been

3. How to Submit
Authors should submit their
manuscripts through the official IJESS submission channel designated by the
journal.
The corresponding author
should ensure that all required files and information are provided at the time
of submission.
Where applicable, the
submission should include the manuscript file, author information, tables and
figures, supplementary materials, and relevant declarations.

4. Editorial Screening
& Peer Review
All submitted manuscripts
are initially assessed by the editorial team to determine their suitability for
IJESS and compliance with the journal's basic academic, ethical, and submission
requirements.
Manuscripts that meet the
initial requirements may proceed to peer review. The journal may use a
double-blind peer-review process, under which the identities of authors and
reviewers are kept confidential to the extent practicable.
Manuscripts are evaluated on
factors including originality, academic significance, relevance to the
journal's scope, methodological quality, clarity of presentation, validity of
analysis, and contribution to the field.
Following the editorial and
peer-review process, a manuscript may receive a decision such as Accept, Minor
Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.
5. Publication Charges
Any applicable Article
Processing Charges, publication fees, or other publication-related costs will
be stated clearly by the journal.
Authors should consult the
journal's official Article Processing Charges and Open Access Policy pages for
the current applicable information.
No author should make a
payment to an individual claiming to represent IJESS unless the payment has
been confirmed through the journal's official communication channels.
6. Ethical Requirements
IJESS expects all authors to
comply with accepted principles of responsible scholarly conduct.
Authors must ensure
that submitted manuscripts are original and that all sources and contributions
from other researchers are appropriately acknowledged.
Plagiarism, fabrication,
falsification, duplicate publication, inappropriate authorship, manipulation of
research findings, and other forms of academic or publication misconduct are
not acceptable.
Where research involves
human participants or other ethically sensitive materials, authors are
responsible for obtaining appropriate ethical approval and informed consent
where required.
Authors must also disclose
relevant conflicts of interest and funding sources.
The journal may use
similarity-detection tools and other appropriate procedures to identify
potential research or publication misconduct.
7. AI & Generative AI
Authors may use appropriate
artificial intelligence or generative AI tools for limited purposes such as
language improvement, translation, formatting, or other legitimate
research-support activities.
However, authors remain
fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and ethical quality
of their submitted manuscript.
AI systems cannot be listed
as authors. AI tools must not be used to fabricate data, create false
references, manipulate research findings, or otherwise misrepresent scholarly
work.
Where AI or generative AI
has made a substantive contribution to manuscript preparation, authors should
provide appropriate disclosure in accordance with the journal's AI &
Generative AI Policy.
8. After Acceptance
Following acceptance, the
corresponding author will receive appropriate communication from the editorial
office regarding the next stage of the publication process.
The accepted manuscript may
undergo editorial checking, formatting, language correction, and production
preparation before publication.
Authors may be asked to
review the final proof and identify any necessary corrections. Authors are
responsible for carefully checking the proof and communicating corrections
within the specified timeframe.
Once the final publication
process is completed, the article will be published according to the journal's
publication schedule and procedures.
9. Author Responsibility
Submission of a manuscript
to IJESS indicates that the submitting author confirms that the manuscript
complies with the journal's submission requirements.
The corresponding author is
responsible for communication with the journal and should ensure that:
